Geelong. 103 Yarra Street. The Geelong Hotel was licensed on this site in 1853. This marvellous Art Deco Spanish Missions style Hotel was built around 1930. It is marked as the Corio Hotel.

Geelong. 16 Ryrie Street. This shop erected 1854 in basalt as single storey. Later became a pharmacy shop making cough mixture. Chemist added upper floor in flamboyant style with minarets, cupolas etc in 1880s. Now antiques shop

Geelong. 14 Myers St. Fine slate roofed house. Probably a rectory as part of the old Reformed Church of England on La Trobe Tce which was built in 1858 and in 1907 became the Church of Christ church.

Geelong. 11 Malop Street. Built as London Charted Bank in 1860. Basalt side walls but sandstone classical front. Almost fort like. Became an English Scottish and Australian Bank in 1921. Now other uses.

Geelong. 1 Malop Street. The old Dalgety and Co Wool and shipping building now incorporated into a 14 storey office building. It was built in 1924 in stripped classical style.

Geelong. 2 Myers Street corner of La Trobe Tce. The former but brightly painted stone Free Presbyterian Church. Built in 1858. Now commercial premises.

Geelong. Colonial church school and headmasters residence corner of Gheringhap and Myers Street. School opened 1854. Brick painted white. Built around 1870 as St Giles Free Presbyterian School.

Geelong. Decoration fo the oriel tower window of the Gordon Technical College. Building started in 1887 and opened in 1888. Became the Gordon Institue of Technolgy and now is Gordon College of TAFE. Right hand wing added 1916.

Geelong. Former YMCA building 78 Yarra Street. Art Deco style windows, classical open clam style entrance and Greek wreaths above pillasters. Built 1932. Architect Schefferle. Funds raised by returned soldiers for it.
